METHODS OF APPLICATION

TOPICAL

Roll On's  A great way to use for spot application. Flo Aromatherapy Roll On's are 5% pre-diluted with coconut oil. Apply to wrists, neck, shoulders, or desired area.

Other topical applications can include; Massage oil, body lotion, face serum, bubble bath, shower gel etc. Remember to dilute accordingly and start with low dilutions.  The particular oils used, and the health status of the individual are also important factors.

Special safety concern for Aromatherapy Baths

Essential oils are not water soluble if you simply pour them directly into a bath, it will result in a film of undiluted oils sitting on top of the water. Try dropping 6-8 drops of essential oil blended into 1 tsp (5ml) fractionated coconut oil and 1/4 cup (60 ml) dead sea or Epsom salt. Run the bath, add the salts and agitate the water until dispersed. The use of a carrier oil in the bath could make your tub slippery so take caution with that as well.
