Growing up in a quaint farming community as a farmer's daughter, I cherished the warmth of the sun on my face while tending to my grandmother's garden and the earthy connection felt when planting my mother's annuals. This upbringing instilled in me a profound love for plants and a sincere admiration for the hard work of farmers. It is this blend of nature's grace and the farmer's diligence that allows us to relish the exquisite botanicals incorporated in our products today.
With over two decades dedicated to practicing massage therapy, I have developed a deep appreciation for the holistic benefits it offers—mentally, physically, and spiritually. Crafting personalized massage blends for clients who value and appreciate this option has been a constant joy. For me, essential oils and massage are inseparable; to echo the sentiments of Robert Tisserand, "Aromatherapy without massage is like an orchestra without a conductor."
Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of essential oils, I pursued formal education in Clinical Aromatherapy. Enrolling in this program allowed me to learn objectively from industry professionals, gaining comprehensive knowledge in safe usage, chemistry, history, blending techniques, and more. As a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, I am proudly recognized by both the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists (CFA) and the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA). This is the foundation upon which Flo Aromatherapy stands.
As a Canadian company, we take pride in our expertly formulated aromatherapy products, meticulously crafted with love in our small batch facility.
